Jean-Aimé Essiembre

M. Jean-Aimé Essiembre de Campbellton, époux bien-aimé de Helen (Clark) Essiembre, est décédé à l'Hôpital régional de Campbellton, le lundi 18 mai 2026, à l'âge de 83 ans. Né le 23 octobre 1942 à Campbellton, N.-B., il était le fils de feu Adélard Essiembre et de feu Maria LeBlanc.

Jean-Aimé était un époux, père, grand-père et frère profondément aimé, pour qui la famille était la plus grande fierté. Dévoué et fiable, il a travaillé pendant 19 ans au département des transports d'Énergie NB, après avoir été pendant de nombreuses années un visage familier dans la communauté en tant que vendeur pour Coca-Cola et Vachon. En dehors du travail, il aimait les plaisirs simples de la vie — partager un bon café entre amis, ne jamais manquer un match de hockey local, trouver la paix sur la route au volant de sa voiture et apprécier pleinement chaque instant passé sur un terrain de golf. Plus que tout, il chérissait les moments passés avec ses petits-enfants, cherchant toujours la moindre occasion d'être près d'eux et de créer des souvenirs précieux.

Outre son épouse Helen (Clark) Essiembre, il laisse dans le deuil ses enfants adorés, Cynthia Cabot (Patrick Richer) et Marc Cabot (Stephanie Hayden); ses petits-enfants chéris, Cienna et Felicity Cabot; ses frères, Henri (Cécile Normand), Guy (Diane LeGresley) et Marc (Kathie Price); ainsi que ses soeurs, Carmel (feu Herman Hins), feu Jeannine (Weldon Valdron), Marguerite (feu Russel Winchester), Yolande (Richard Fournier) et Anne. Il manquera également beaucoup à ses nombreux neveux, nièces et amis.

Les funérailles de Jean-Aimé auront lieu en l'église Saint-Thomas-d'Aquin de Campbellton le lundi 1er juin à 14 h.

La famille accueillera parents et amis au Salon funéraire Maher, situé au 33, rue Lansdowne à Campbellton, le lundi de 12 h jusqu'au départ pour les funérailles.

Mr. Jean-Aimé Essiembre of Campbellton, beloved husband of Helen (Clark) Essiembre, passed away at the Campbellton Regional Hospital on Monday, May 18, 2026, at the age of 83. Born on October 23, 1942, in Campbellton, NB, he was the son of the late Adélard Essiembre and the late Maria LeBlanc.

Jean-Aimé was a deeply loved husband, father, grandfather, and brother whose family was his greatest pride. Dedicated and dependable, he spent 19 years with NB Power in the transportation department, following his earlier years as a familiar face in the community working as a salesman for Coca-Cola and Vachon. Outside of work, he loved the simple pleasures of life—sharing a warm cup of coffee with friends, never missing a local hockey game, finding peace out on the open road, and appreciating every single moment spent on the golf course. Above all, he treasured his time with his grandchildren, always looking for any opportunity to be close to them and build lasting memories.

Besides his wife Helen, he is survived by his loving children, Cynthia Cabot (Patrick Richer) and Marc Cabot (Stephanie Hayden); his cherished grandchildren, Cienna and Felicity Cabot; his brothers, Henri (Cécile Normand), Guy (Diane LeGresley), and Marc (Kathie Price); and his sisters, Carmel (the late Herman Hins), the late Jeannine (Weldon Valdron), Marguerite (the late Russel Winchester), Yolande (Richard Fournier), and Anne. He is also missed deeply by many nieces, nephews, and friends.

A Funeral Mass for Jean-Aimé will be held at St. Thomas Aquinas Church in Campbellton on Monday, June 1 at 2:00 pm.

The family will welcome family and friends at Maher's Funeral Home, 33 Lansdowne St. in Campbellton, on Monday from 12:00 pm until the departure for the funeral.
