John Chedore

Born on March 18th, 1946, in Campbellton, NB whose infectious smile and laughter brightened many lives. Jack was the son of the late Hilda Moores and the late Raymond Chedore.

He is survived by his wife, Sue Carrol Vick, his daughters Juliann (Julie)(Norm Anderson), Tammy (Tim Smith), sons Michael (Debbie) & Richard (Rickey). His brothers Reginald (Susan), William (Terrie). Grandchildren Stephen, Matthew, Randy, Katlyn, Michael, Joshua, James & great grandchildren, his niece Tanya and was predeceased by his nephew Nathan .

He was a member of the Masonic Lodge Campbellton, NB holding many positions, Master of Masonic Lodge Campbellton #32, 2007 Junior Grand Decon, 2008 District Grand Master of Grand Lodge New Brunswick.

Jack also served as a Board Member of the Campbellton Village Nursing Home and a Councilor for the City of Campbellton for many years.

Special thanks to the staff and Dr. Losier of Percy’s Place in Miramichi who went above and beyond the special care given to Jack, family and friends. Special thanks to many family and friends for their support during this grievous time. Thank you to Rev. Ross Wiseman and Joanne Wiseman for being his true mentor and friends for many years and performing the Celebration of Life for him.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Percy’s Place, 1284 Water Street, Miramichi, NB E1N 1A3, to the Cancer Society or a charity of the donor’s choice.

Visitation will be at Maher’s Funeral Chapel, Campbellton, NB from 1pm until time of service at 2pm with reception to follow at Maher’s Funeral Chapel.
