He was a Veteran of the Canadian Airforce in WWII, a lifelong Engineer with the CN Rail and an avid hunter. Lloyd spent a lot of time at his hunting camp in Flatlands over the years. He was a big hockey fan whether professional, amateur or even local kids teams. His kindnesss and generosity will be missed by many.
He leaves to mourn his sister Lurlyn Mann of Oshawa, one niece, Sheila Ehmke (Robert) Oshawa, great nephew Matthew (Maighan) and great niece Madison. He is predeceased by his wife, Lena Thompson, his mother Elizabeth Chatterton, his father Roland George Thompson. He is also predeceased by his sister Attrude Thompson, brother Lyman Thompson, sister Chloris Lazenby and sister Myra Thompson.
Funeral service will be held at Maher's Funeral Chapel, 64 Lansdowne St, Campbellton Thursday at 2 pm.
