

Lorraine was born on August 15, 1934 in Campbellton to the late Allison Doiron and the late Margaret Furlong.
Lorraine was a dedicated military wife and a stay at home mom for most of her married life. She enjoyed time spent with family and friends and loved travelling. She was also a fan of playing cards and casinos and bingos, also watching wrestling. Her greatest joy in life were her children and her grandchildren.
She is survived by her 5 children; Judy Savoie of British Columbia, Debra Stewart (James) of Tide Head, Cathy Demers (Keith) of New Jersey, Carol Dye (Tim) of Ontario and Donna Savoie of Campbellton. She is also survived by her 8 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband Joseph Alphée Savoie where they shared 55 years together before his passing.
The viewing/visitations will take place from 7-9 pm on Wednesday, August 2nd at Maher’s Funeral Home, 33 Lansdowne Street in Campbellton. The Funeral service will be held at 11am on Thursday, August 3rd at Saint Thomas Aquinas Church at 43 Andrew Street in Campbellton.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to the Campbellton Village Nursing Home or the Canadian Alzheimer’s Association. This would be greatly appreciated.
