Maurice was born in Campbellton to Constance and Lionel (Nick) LeBlanc, who predeceased him.
He was raised in McLeods and spent most of his life in the area, except for a stint picking tobacco in Ontario. He worked at NBIP in Dalhousie for many years, then at Sugarloaf Provincial Park as a seasonal maintenance worker until his retirement. Maurice loved to read, especially anything by James Patterson.
Maurice is survived by four sisters, Claudette (Gerald), Carmen (Howard), Rose (Charles) and Nicole “Nicky” (Gary) and their families.
Maurice dedicated many years helping to care for his parents, along with Roger. The family is eternally grateful for that.
As per Maurice’s wishes, there will not be any visitation or formal service. The family will hold a private and informal grave side service.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at mahercampbellton.com for the family.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted in the care of Maher’s funeral Home, Campbellton.
