

Born in Deeside, Quebec on November 24, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Dougal and Ethel (Ferguson) Sharpe.
Myrtle married her loving husband, Willie and settled in Tide Head, N.B. where they raised their children.
Besides raising her family Myrtle worked at Runnymede Fishing Lodge, the Tide Head Post Office and several years at the Admitting Office of the Soldiers Memorial Hospital.
Myrtle was a member of the Tide Head St Andrew’s United Church, served as a CGIT leader and was a lifetime member of the UCW. In her later years she moved from Tide Head and then attended the United Baptist Church in Campbellton.
Myrtle was an avid historian and enjoyed many hours working on genealogy and attending meetings with the Genealogy Society.
Myrtle will lovingly be remembered by her children Alan MacNaughton(June) and Donna Hachey (Gary); her four grandchildren Alan Jr. MacNaughton (Darla),Krista Fraser (Mike),Jennifer Stacey (Thomas) and Kara Angus (Greg) as well as her nine great grandchildren, Jack and Charlie Fraser; Rebecca and Emily MacNaughton; Nicholas and Chloe Stacey; Ayla, Audrey and Adalyn Angus; her brother-in- law Wayne (Heather) MacNaughton, sisters-in-law Kathleen, Faye, Pierrette as well as many nieces and nephews.
Myrtle’s warm smile and jovial manner will be remembered by all who knew her.
A celebration of life will be held at the Campbellton Rural Cemetery on July 12, 2021 at 2:00 pm.
As an expression of sympathy donations may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
