What a wonderful woman she is with her husband and daughter and will be waiting with open arms for the rest of her wonderful family 🙏

My dear sweet Nanny.  I’m so grateful for the many years we got to spend together and I will always cherish our many memories.  

I’ll never forget the walks we would take, during which I’d ask you questions about your younger years and learn more about who you were outside of my world.

I am not one to have a sweet tooth except for when it comes to your baking. You always had the tin full of chocolate chip cookies and Scotch cookies and coconut balls in the freezer for when we came to visit.  While your sweets always got the spotlight, I still dream about your meat pies.  Other notable favorites were your chicken pot pies, chicken boil with the dough bows and let’s not forget potatoes, carrots and turnips at every meal.   So many of my fond memories revolve around the kitchen, which you truly made the heart of your home!  I always loved how people would drop in unannounced - always coming to the back door! You welcomed  every one of them with a smile!

You impacted so many with your kindness and made them laugh with your quick wit and colorful sayings.  You will be missed, but I know you were ready to go.  The good Lord was finally ready to take you home.  Patti and Pops will be grateful to have you back and I’m so grateful that we got to keep you for so long.   

You are an amazing woman and your strength and sense of humor are traits that I hope to carry forth.   I’m so glad you got to meet Sarah.  She still tells everyone what you said to her when you met her:  “Blondes have more fun, but they sure do get dirty faster!”

I love you, Nanny.  

I didn’t have the privilege of meeting “Aunt P” but Sean has shared many stories and memories of her with me over the years that made me feel like I knew her. She was an amazing woman with many talents. I am so sorry for your loss. My thoughts go out to all of the family ❤️

My dear Aunt Priscilla, better known to her family as Puh Puh, was my second mother.  So many beautiful memories of family camping trips, parties on Dieppe Street and Gerrard Street, and the laughter.  She made everyone feel comfortable and welcome in her home.  Her keen sense of humour, quick wit and infectious smile were always on display. She was an incredibly strong woman and she passed that trait on to her children.  Rest easy now, your work on earth is done.  Forever in our hearts...your loving nephew,

Nanny had a long life enriched by family and friends who loved her dearly. Moreover she enriched the lives of all whom she touched. Her work was done here and it was time for her to move on to the next dimension where she will be reunited with Patti and Pops to rest peacefully. 

My Mother was my shining beacon of light.  All that I am or ever hope to be, I owe to my angel Mother.

I will be forever grateful that I was able to spend the time I did with you. I know your spirit will live on to guide and protect us all. The special memories I have shared with you will always bring a smile to my face. Your quick-witted personality, sense of humor, and kind spirit is what I will always remember you by. You will never be forgotten and will remain close in our hearts forever. I know you are at peace on Heaven. You are so loved and are deeply missed. I love you Nanny. 

Thank you for being the best grandmother one could ask for. Your witty humor, kind heart, and infectious laugh are a few of the things I will miss most about you.  And your Old Henry balls!! I feel so lucky to have had the time I did with you. Your presence touched all of us, making  our lives happier and brighter.  I have peace of mind that you are now resting peacefully with Pops and Patti.  You are a true example of a kind, giving and hardworking person and your legacy will live on. I love you Nanny.

Nanny was a wonderful great-grandmother who brought so much light and love into the world. I have many fond memories of visiting her in Canada and Florida. She never failed to make me laugh and bring a smile to my face. I am so grateful for my time with her and the legacy she leaves in our family and the communities she was part of. Her fantastic baking skills, witty sayings, and love for others were and will continue to be shared and cherished by many. 

Aunt Priscilla was a very special lady. She was always smiling and had such a great laugh!  When I would go and visit my parents , Annie and Frank Brooks at the Nursing Home, I would call her and pick her up at her home to visit.  Even when she was in her apartment at Bursey Towers she visited!  Precious memories!

Our thoughts and prayers are with Lynn, Tom and family and Bruce and family. 🤗🙏🏻😍

The Dearest Friend and Neighbour , A beautiful person who i feel very fortunate to have known, She was the best neighbour always happy to talk and a wonderful cook too, She loved loved her home and baking so much! i am so and will be forever greatful for our visits,phone calls and times we shared together, many memories of her will live in my heart forever, She is now in her forever home with  her much love hubby and her beautiful Patty whom she so often spoke to me about,,Rest in peace dear friend! 

Deepest sympathy Lynn & Family.  Even though I hadn’t known your Mom for long she became a big part of my life and took a big chunk of my heart.
I will cherish the memories we made together with our favourite being our trip to see the deer in Saint Quentin just a few weeks before her passing.   Her sense of humour was her greatest asset.  How she made us laugh that day.   R.I.P. Priscilla.  Xoxox

Priscilla was a loving person and careing person  I would go on second floor for a visit and she would always be sitting out we had good chats then I would see her walking  she was loved by everyone she will be missed on second floor
