Roger Arsenault

Décédé à l’Hׅôpital Régional de Campbellton le 21 Aout 2025, à l’âge de 89 ans M. Roger Arsenault de Campbellton il repose maintenant auprès de son épouse, feu Ruth (Dionne) Arsenault, de leur fils, feu Pierre Arsenault ainsi que sa sœur, feu Thérèse Arsenault.

Né à Campbellton le 29 Juin 1936, il était le fils de feu Edgar Arsenault et de feu Éveline Coutange.

Roger a fait sa carrière comme agent d’assurance vie avec MetLife. Il était chevalier de Colomb (4e degré) et membre de la garde paroissiale de l’Église Notre-Dame-des-Neiges depuis la création de l’organisation. Un homme charitable, il se portait volontaire avec plusieurs organisations dans sa communauté.

Il laisse dans le deuil sa fille Maryse, sa sœur Marie de Québec, ses petits enfants Mallory Robichaud (Jon), Danik et Chanelle, ainsi que son neveu Donald Grondin (Louise) sa nièce Linda Boucher (Pierre) et sa belle sœur Adeline Grondin (feu Guildo)

Les funérailles auront lieu en l'Église Notre-Dame-des-Neiges de Campbellton, mercredi, 3 septembre 2025 à 14h00.

La famille accueillera parents et amis au Salon funéraire Maher, 33 rue Lansdowne, Campbellton mercredi, 3 septembre 2025 de midi jusqu’au départ pour les funérailles.

La famille désire remercier le personnel de son aile au foyer de soins, Campbellton Nursing Home (Le Village) ainsi que le personnel tant attentif du département de réadaptation et de soins palliatifs de l’hôpital Régional de Campbellton.

Au lieu de fleurs, un don à la fondation des petits déjeuners Restigouche serait très apprécié par la famille ainsi que toutes les petites bedaines dans les écoles de notre région.

Roger Arsenault of Campbellton passed away at Campbellton Regional Hospital on 21 August 2025, at the age of 89. He is now resting with his wife, the late Ruth (Dionne) Arsenault, their son, the late Pierre Arsenault, and his sister, the late Thérèse Arsenault.

Born in Campbellton on 29 June 1936, he was the son of the late Edgar Arsenault and the late Éveline Coutange.

Roger spent his career as a life insurance agent with MetLife. He was a Knight of Columbus (4th degree) and a member of the parish guard of Notre-Dame-des-Neiges Church since the organisation's creation. A charitable man, he volunteered with several organisations in his community.

He is survived by his daughter Maryse, his sister Marie of Quebec City, his grandchildren Mallory Robichaud (Jon), Danik and Chanelle, as well as his nephew Donald Grondin (Louise), his niece Linda Boucher (Pierre) and his sister-in-law Adeline Grondin (late Guildo).

The funeral will be held at Notre-Dame-des-Neiges Church in Campbellton on Wednesday, 3 September 2025, at 2:00 p.m.

The family will receive relatives and friends at Maher Funeral Home, 33 Lansdowne Street, Campbellton, on Wednesday, 3 September 2025, from noon until the departure for the funeral.

The family would like to thank the staff of their wing at Campbellton Nursing Home (Le Village) as well as the attentive staff of the rehabilitation and palliative care department at Campbellton Regional Hospital.

In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Restigouche Breakfast Foundation would be greatly appreciated by the family and all the little tummies in our local schools.
