

Born in Newfoundland, son of the late Eunice (Parson) Boyce and of the late Chestly Boyce of Newfoundland. He was predeceased by his brother William Daniel Boyce of Newfoundland.
Roy is survived by his wife Mary-Lou (Legacy) Boyce and many loving nieces and nephews.
Born in Newfoundland, Roy was the son of a Merchant. After high school, his dad sent him to Saint John’s to go to university for a business course, but Roy joined the Canadian Navy and served for 5 years during the Korean War. He then graduated from Oulton College in Moncton, NB. He worked for various businesses in Moncton, then moved to Dalhousie and was employed at the (C.I.L.) Olin’s until his retirement. Roy and Mary Lou sailed to the Bahamas and enjoyed many years in Florida and the Bahamas.
He was a member of the Legion, Dalhousie Regional Marina, Dalhousie Golden Age Club and was a volunteer at the Dalhousie Nursing Home where he loved to play music for the residents.
He loved music, playing his accordion and guitar, dancing, skiing, sailing, playing darts and socializing. He loved to tell stories, always had a smile and had a contagious laughter.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted in the care of Maher's Funeral Home, Campbellton.
