With heavy hearts, we remember the life of Steve Whitzman-a devoted husband, loving father, proud grandfather, cherished friend, and compassionate school psychologist whose impact touched countless lives.
Born in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Since 1987, he called Campbellton, New Brunswick home. A school psychologist by profession, Steve dedicated his career to helping children find their voice.
Married to his beloved wife, Sharon, since 1977.
Steve was the proud father of April, father-in-law to Paul, grandfather to Charlotte, the light of his life. His best friend Annie stood by him always-a bond filled with laughter, loyalty, and love. He will be missed by his brother Martin and family.
His joy was contagious. His legendary puns, quick smile, and deep empathy left a lasting mark on everyone he met. Ans when it came to baseball-his heart was all in.
After a long and cruel battle with Alzheimer’s, Steve passed away surrounded by his love.
He leaves behind a legacy of kindness, humor, and unwavering love-one that lives on in his family, friends, and all those lucky enough to have been in his life.
He will be missed beyond words and remembered forever.
