It is with great sadness that the family of Terrance Scott Dickson announces his passing on October 14, 2022 at the age 63 years. Terry was raised and lived his whole life in the village of Tide Head. He was the son of the late Shirley (Galloway) and Marcus Dickson.
Terry is survived by brother Reggie (Pam) and is fondly remembered by niece and nephews Harley, Carey, Cory, Sarah, Ryan and Nolan, and their children James, Walker and Lincoln. He was predeceased by brother Robin (Cathy).
Terry was employed for 40 years at Frasers (AV Cell) mill in Atholville, first as an electrician, then as a lab technician. Growing up, his passion was sports, from playing baseball with the Tide Head Falcons, Commercial league goaltender, to following his beloved Montreal Canadiens. Later years saw him active with softball, tennis and badminton. His enjoyment of photography led to a long-time tenure as cameraman for the Campbellton Jr. Tigers. His greatest love however was for family, especially his niece and nephews whose lives he followed with devotion.
Funeral service will be held at St. Andrew’s United Church, Tide Head on Friday, October 21 at 3:00 pm, with visitation 1 hour before the service.
For those who wish, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Diabetes Canada.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted in the care of Maher’s Funeral Home, Campbellton
