Verna Mary Boudreau

Verna Mary Boudreau (Nee. Beek) passed away at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital, Fredericton, NB on Sunday, April 6, 2025. She was born in Campbellton, NB on July 7, 1953, daughter of the late Priscilla (St-Coeur) Beek and the late George Beek.

Verna worked at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital Food Services Department from the early 1970s until 1994. She was kind-hearted, loved country music, loved her white cat, enjoyed nature and had an infectious laugh.

Besides her parents, Verna was predeceased by her husband, Michael Boudreau, and both her brothers, Reginald (Reggie) Beek and James (Jimmy) Beek. Verna is survived by her son Éric Doucet (Joanne Fletcher) of Balmoral, New Brunswick, by her sisters, Sylverine Gallant of Belleville, Ontario; Ruby Beek of Pointe-à-la-Croix, Québec; Rose Beek of Campbellton, New Brunswick and Elva Beek-Wert of Lindsay, Ontario, along with her adoring grand-children Justin Doucet and Emily Rose Doucet, and several nieces and nephews.

There will be no visitation. A graveside service will be held in late June (date to be announced) at the Campbellton St. Thomas Aquinas Rural Cemetery.
