Walter was born on August 29, 1953, in Bay Roberts, Newfoundland.
He leaves behind his brother Edwin Sharpe (Deborah) from Newfoundland, his sisters Hilda Emberley from Ontario and Deanna Emberley from Newfoundland. He will also be missed by his close friends Diane, Roger and his many friends in Dalhousie. He was predeceased by his sons Matthew & Sterling and his foster parents Evelyn & Frank Emberley.
Cremation has taken place, and a Committal Service will be held in Newfoundland at a later date.
