Kim had two great passions in life that she took great pride in. She was a dedicated special education teacher who spent 36 years teaching life skills, while also dedicating her Sundays working with the Colts. Along with her passion of teaching, Kim was overjoyed to spend time with her husband and two sons. She was so proud to watch her boys grow up to be the men they are today. Words could not describe her happiness to see the men her boys turned out to be.
She is survived by her parents George and Beverly Lockhart, brother Kevin Lockhart, her loving husband of 35 years, Ed Massaro, her two sons Chris Massaro (Darby Smith), and Mike Massaro (Diedre Massaro) and her grandson Adonis Massaro.
Services will be held at Leppert Mortuary Carmel on Saturday, July 3, 2021. Visitation will be from 12:00-4:00pm with services directly after. A celebration of life will be held at Mike and Diedre’s home in Carmel from 5:00-9:00pm for anyone who would like to join and celebrate Kim’s life.
Flowers can be sent to Leppert Mortuary for display during the services. Ed would like potted plants if possible, as those were Kim’s favorite.
