Amy was born October 10, 1924, to Lee and Mabel McNiel on a farm near Batavia, Iowa, the youngest of eight, and graduated from Ottumwa High School. She met her husband Oran while working at the California Institute of Technology during World War II.
They were married from 1944 until his death in 2005. For many years she was a member of the Arapaho United Methodist Church.
A memorial Service will be held on Monday, May 8, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at the Metrocrest Funeral Home Chapel
