Grimes, Carl Keith Of Farmers Branch, TX passed away January 27th, 2018 in peace from the arms of his loving family to the arms of the Lord. Born October 20, 1926 in Cookeville, Tennessee to Clayter and Dicy Grimes. He is was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Bess. He is survived by his son Keith and his wife Becky and their children Jonathan (Michelle), Alex and Jennifer, his son Mike and his wife Jamie and their sons Harrison (Xochitl), Taylor, Parker and Jackson, and grandchildren Arya and Matthew. Carl was a devoted husband and father and was a tireless volunteer at his church. He was Korean War vet, and he worked for American Airlines for 40 years. Memorial Services will be Friday, February 9th, 2018 at St. Matthias Church located at 3460 Forest Lane, Dallas, TX at 11:00 am with a reception at the church afterwards. The family requests in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
