Chad was born on September 4, 1945, in Mobile, Alabama. He earned a Ph.D. in Education from the University of Southern Illinois and continued his studies at Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
Chad had a successful professional career in Enterprise Architecture, IT Management, Business Strategy, as well as working with Central Intelligence Agency to advance defense initiatives.
Chad was a devout follower of the Word of God and an active member of his church. In his role as Elder of the Church of Jesus Christ, Chad served as church pastor at several congregations, President of the Church Education Committee, and continued to share his knowledge of the Jesus Christ and church by teaching religious classes.
In his free time, Chad enjoyed completing Sudoku puzzles, watching Carey Grant movies, and participating in Plano’s volunteer police force, Citizens Assisting Plano Police (CAPP).
Chad is preceded in death by his sons Timothy and Jonathan.
He is survived by his wife Elizabeth; his children Jodie, Matthew, Caitlin, Cynthia, and Michaela; and his grandchildren Benjamin, Alexander, Henry, and Eleanor.
