Charlotte was born in Donna, Texas on August 29, 1927 to Rev. F.A. Walton, Sr. and Lillie Lee Dunn Walton. She leaves behind four children: Brenda (and Mike) Witte of Dallas; Lynette (and Chuck) King of Sulphur Springs; Kathy (and Steve) Hill of Carrollton; and Danny (and Bridget) Davis of Kingwood. Also surviving are grandchildren: Josh (and Valerie) Witte, Aaron Witte, Kyle (and Debbie) King, Klint (and Whitney) King, Rachael Hill, Natalie (and Nathan) Vinzant, Shea Davis, Sean Davis; and great-grandchildren: Kayla and Katelyn King, Judd and Grant Klaire King, and Keller Vinzant. She also leaves a sister, Lillie Ruth Payne of Odem, Texas, a college “sister,” Dorothy Myers of Dallas, and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Farewell service will be held at Truett Chapel of First Baptist Church, Dallas on Friday, January 31 Visitation will be at 2pm with Memorial Service at 3pm.
