

Dr. Ronald Wreyburn Philleaux, MD., passed away on Sunday, February 2, 2025, in Dallas, Texas, at the young age of 95. He was born on September 30, 1929, in Ithaca, New York. He lived a long and fulfilling life that spanned nearly a century.
Ronald pursued a distinguished career in medicine, earning his Medical Doctor degree in 1964 from the University of Texas in Galveston. After graduation, he set up his medical practice in Dallas. His dedication to the field was a testament to his commitment to helping others and making a meaningful impact on the lives of many.
In addition to his professional achievements, Ronald served in active duty in the Korean War in the United States Army, demonstrating his devotion to service and country. His time in the military was an important chapter in his life, shaping his values and sense of duty.
Ronald was predeceased by his parents, William Wreyburn Philleaux, mother, Carmen Reyna and his brother, William G. Philleaux. He is survived by his sister, Sharon Middlebrook and his daughter, Cecilia Philleaux and spouse Al Krombach; grandchildren, Cecilia and Alvon; Son, Paul Philleaux and spouse, Jannifer Fronk and son, Hunter; son, Ronald Anthony(Tony) Philleaux and his spouse, Justin C. Mayes. On the day of his passing, he was surrounded by his family and beloved fur-baby and companion, " Poppie."
A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 21, 2025, at 10:00 AM at DFW National Cemetery, located at 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway in Dallas, Texas. Ronald will be laid to rest with honors, befitting his service to both medicine and the military.
His memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
