Ed received his Bachelor's Degree from Notre Dame, and also attended SMU and University of North Texas. He worked as a counselor and instructor at LSU and UNT, as well as at Fleming & Sons Paper Mill, the Salvation Army and as a Parole Officer for the State of Texas.
He is survived by his children: Colin Fleming and wife, Patrice of Carrollton, TX, Brian Fleming and wife, Ami of Irving, TX, Mary Fimian and husband, Steve of Dallas, TX and Sara Estabrook and husband Brett of Savannah, GA, brother: Lee Fleming, Sisters: Joan and Diane, along with a hosts of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, family and friends.
