Jana Lynn Myers

Jana Lynn Myers, Age 49, passed away on Friday May 27, 2016 at her residence in Carrollton. She was born October 5, 1966 in Dallas, TX and a lifelong resident of Carrollton. She is survived by her father and mother, Billy Jim Myers and Mary Louise (Gardener) Myers, loving sister Jill Ann Myers, brother Richard Ray Myers, one niece, four nephews, along with other loving relatives. She is preceded in death by her beloved twin brother, Russ Wade Myers. Jana was a faithful daughter, sister, aunt and friend. She spent many years as a bookkeeper, but left that profession to car for her mother. She put an emphasis on family and was devoted to serving others. She loved hard and her giving heart never wavered. She had a passion for cooking and dedicated much of her time caring for others. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. Visitation will be held on Thursday June 2, 2016 between 6:00 – 8:00 pm at Metrocrest Funeral Home. The family will be there to greet family and friends. A graveside funeral will be held at Hilltop Memorial Park, 1810 N. Perry Rd. Carrollton, TX Friday June 3, 2016 at 1:00 pm. Her family requests in lieu of flowers, donations are sent to the charity of your choice.
