I went to Texas the summer of 73 with my mom, our grandma Lucile and my step-dad. I was of course excited to see my favorite uncle....Uncle Russle. Our time in Texas was a short time, but I couldn't get out of there quick enough! I was the younger cousin to Jeannie and boy did she have fun pulling pranks on me and being mean to me. I  remember thinking how pretty she was and man did she ever have a cool car, it was a Dodge Charger and she let me ride in it and boy did I feel special until I realized why she was letting me ride with her! She said she had some friends up ahead of us and wanted me to stick my head out the window and yell at them so I did just in time for her to drive through I big water puddle that drenched my entire front side almost to my belly button. She couldn't stop laughing  when she looked at me.  We went home after that but on the way we stopped for a soda....lime rockies, somehow she was able  to get a shaker full of salt in my drink so by the time  we got back to uncle Russ' I had nothing left in my belly for I had left it along the road side at various intervals the  last six  or so miles to the house. Many more things happe Ed on my vacation from hell,I'll  end by saying I wasn't very happy traveling back to Utah with purple hair on one side and green on the other, my mom, Aunt Dot wasn't very happy either. That was the last time I saw my cousin and honestly I was kind of happy it was as my life had been altered tremendously that summer. I chuckle when I remember that summer for it was truly life altering. Hope your still getting a kick out of it Jeannie.

Jeannie was a classmate in school at W T White. While we did not stay connected after school, my time with her in class was fun. She was so talented, we shared Art classes and Gym. I was so sure I would reconnect with her some time but alas and regretfully I did not. I am so sorry for your loss. I hope you find peace with the memories you have of your loving Daughter, Mother and Nana.

Lizzy & I were good friends since 2011. "Homer" and I love and miss her constantly.

Lizzy was my best friend. She will be sorely missed.

I am so sad to hear of her passing!! I loved your mom for her creativity, her wit, her sassy-ness, and most of all for her tender heart.  Never doubt her love for her three children, grandchildren, and her parents.  My prayers and thoughts go out to her family that they may feel peace and comfort during this difficult time.  I am also grateful to know that she lives on enjoying another portion of her existence with family who have gone on before and that she does so in peace and joy without the pain and limitations of her earthly body.  We will see her again and call her "friend."

I was serving in the military when you were born on May 20, 1956 at Madigan Army Hospital, Fort Lewis, Washington. You began your travels with us that covered 38 of the 50 States.  You viewed the Gold Depository at Fort Knox, stood by the Tank at the entrance to Fort Knox when you were nearly two.  We visited the Gettysburg Battlefield - looked to the Northwest to see General/President Eisenhower's home. To Arlington National Cemetery where you watched the changing of the Guard at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier - stood and looked at the eternal flame at JFK's grave-site - crossed the Potomac to 1200 Pennsylvania to see the White House, the Jefferson and Lincoln Memorial's, to the top of the Washington Monument. A flight from a New York airport to Frankfurt, Germany's Rhein Main airport - toured Switzerland, drove through Lichtenstein, through Northwest Austria and into Munich, Germany to visit friends from Fort Knox.  You began school in Pirmasens in 1962, viewed the WWII Siegfried Line on the western boundary of Germany.  After returning from Europe I had other assignments and finally we purchased a home in Framers Branch, Texas.  Moved you and your Mom there during the summer if 1968 prior to my retirement. You completed your schooling in the North Dallas School district graduating from W. T White High School - attended Bauder Fashion College in Arlington, Texas, became a contestant in the Miss Arlington Beauty Pageant.  We visited the JFK Memorial in downtown Dallas in Dealy Plaza, stood at the top of the triple under-pass where JFK was shot - Looked up at the 6th floor window where they say the fatal shots were fired from that killed JFK.  You Married Craig and had three children, divorced him and mainly lived alone.  My love continues and you will always be my Daughter!

I'm very sorry for your loss.  Prayers to all of you.  I knew Jeannie from Jr. High and High School.  She was the sweetest person I've ever known.  I only wish I'd kept up with her after high school.  God bless you all.
