Joanne Yvonne Davis, a faithful Christian and wonderful Mother, passed away August 6, 2020 in Carrollton. She was born Oct 5, 1930 in Kansas, and raised in California, but a young soldier named Jim Davis, changed her life and moved her to Texas.
Joanne loved her church and her community, as evidenced in her work as a docent at the Perry Museum. Her spare time found her quilting and traveling in their RV.
She was predeceased by her husband, James, and her parents.
Joanne is survived by her children: Tom Davis and wife, Marsha; Scott Davis, Rick Davis and wife, Beth; Kim Moore and husband, Randal; Sister: Carol Shook; 9 Grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
