Jose Eduardo Garcia Ibarra

With a saddened heart, we announce the passing of Jose Eduardo Garcia Ibarra on October 25, 2018 in Dallas, TX. He was born on February 7, 1970 to Francisco and Blanca in Guadalajara, Jalisco Mexico. Eduardo attended the University of Central Oklahoma and graduated in 1998 with a Bachelor’s Degree. He began his career as an Assistant Kitchen Manager and worked his way up to General Manager and eventually co-owned and operated Cantina Laredo in Dallas, TX. Eduardo loved to travel, watch and play soccer and was a NASCAR fanatic. He was energetic and active, enjoying bike riding, cross fit and going to the gym. Eduardo was a great dancer, loved going to the movies and cooking for his family. He will be remembered for his wonderful spirit, kind and huge heart and being a strong willed man. He was a hard worker, but always made time for his family and friends. Eduardo had a great sense of humor and carried a beautiful smile that lit up a room wherever he went. He will be greatly missed. Eduardo is survived by his wife, Roxanne Johnston; daughters, Alexa and Juliana Garcia; parents, Francisco and Blanca Garcia; brother, Francisco Martin Garcia Ibarra; sisters, Blanca, Veronica and Maria de Lourdes Garcia Ibarra. A Visitation was held at Metrocrest Funeral Home – Carrollton, TX on Sunday October 28, 2018 from 1 – 6 pm with a Rosary at 3 pm.
