

With heavy hearts and deep love, we celebrate the life of Judy Kay Kirkland, a lifelong resident of Carrollton, who was born on August 7, 1946, to Marie and Jesse Chambliss. Judy lived her entire life in the community she loved, building a legacy of kindness, faith, and unwavering devotion to her family.
Judy was a loving mother, proud grandmother, and faithful friend. She poured her heart into caring for her children and cherished every moment spent together - whether gathered around the table, celebrating milestones, or simply enjoying each other's company. Her love was steady, selfless, and unconditional.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Marie and Jesse Chambliss, and her brother Ed Chambliss.
Judy's beautiful legacy lives on through her children: Andy Kirkland of Carrollton; Robert Kirkland and his wife Deena of Celina; and Bridgette Kirkland and her husband Tim of Carrollton; and grandson, Louis Rogers; and sister-in-law Thelda Chambliss.
Judy will be remembered by her warm smile, her steady presence, and the way she made everyone feel welcomed and loved. Her life was a beautiful testament to devotion - to her family, her faith, and her hometown.
Though she will be deeply missed, her love will continue to guide and surround those who knew her.
A memorial service will be held at Metrocrest Funeral Home, located at 1810 N Perry Rd, Carrollton, TX, 75006, United States. The service is scheduled for February 27, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
