
Larry had many passions in life and worked following people he liked and respected more than a particular career path. He was proud to work at the beginning of his career for Walt Churchill whom he respected deeply. Later he obtained a degree and license in mortuary science and worked in that field until he opted for a more regular work schedule with a growing young family. He was a successful account manager for a steel distributor and reliable retail manager for Walmart and Sam's Club. He possessed a good business acumen and always new what people would by.
In his retirement he enjoyed picture taking, hiking trails and urban setting in Dallas. Several of his photos were picked up by news agencies. He was a published author of poetry, An Anthology of Poetry which includes the "I Must Release You" poem he wrote when his son Kevin passed at age 27. He also enjoyed classical music, hymns and was quite a history buff, especially history of Toledo and northeast Arkansas where he was born.
He was preceded in death by his parents Verser W. Branyan and Marjorie G. Branyan along with his son Kevin P. Branyan.
He is survived by his daughter Jennifer Matuszewski and her boys. A son Jeremey (Erica Shaffer) Branyan and their children. Brothers: Scott (Sharon) Branyan, Jeff (Michele) Branyan: A niece, 2 nephews and numerous friends.
Burial Memorial will be in Harrisburg Arkansas at a later date.
