Linda Gayle Grimes of Little Elm, Texas, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Jan 25, 2026. Born on December 23, 1942 to Bethel (Osborne) Williamson and Ellis Williamson. She loved the Lord, her church, and spoke with God daily. She was active in worship, small group studies and, Bible Study Fellowship. Her passion outside of church was for animals, she always had her cat rescues on her front porch.
She was a proud graduate of Southeast High School in Oklahoma City, and until a few years ago, attended every reunion. Linda retired from Tinker Air Force base in 2003. She was a proud Okie and resided there until 2006 when she moved to Texas to be closer to family.
Linda was married to the love of her life, Larry Grimes, 53 years before his passing. She was proceeded in death by her husband, parents, sister Glenda (Suzy) Spurgeon, brother Robert Williamson, and best friend Jackie (Osborn) Choate.
She leaves behind her daughter Laura Manalo and husband Leo, son Randal Grimes and wife Kelli, 5 beautiful grandchildren, Sarah and Nolan Hartnett, Randa, Derek & Kayla Grimes, and 3 adorable great grandbabies, Bridget & Eddie Miksch and Ramsi Grimes.
