

Mildred Edwina Weaver (Scribner), aged 93, left this earth to meet our Lord on August 29, 2024, in Aledo, TX. Born on July 30, 1931, in Dallas, TX, she was a beacon of love, resilience, and devout in her faith throughout her entire life.
Mildred was renowned for her unwavering dedication to her family, particularly her five sons. She contributed significantly to the household by selling Avon, Tupperware, and engaging in various endeavors to support her family financially. Known for her calm demeanor, she was the quiet strength of her household, managing to keep peace and order with a gentle yet firm presence. Even in her final days, Mildred continued to guide her children and grandchildren, imparting wisdom on family and faith.
Her early hobbies included drawing with charcoal and dancing at senior events. An avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys, she shared many joyful moments with her family cheering for her favorite team. Mildred was a cherished member of the Parker County Cowboy Church in Aledo, TX, where she worshipped and found great solace in her community.
Mildred leaves behind a loving family: sons Ray Weaver, Keith Weaver and his wife Brenda, Kalvin Weaver and his wife Tina, Kyle Weaver and his wife Sharra, and Kent Weaver and his wife Tammy. She was a proud grandmother to sixteen grandchildren and adored by twenty great-grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kelley Weaver, Ray's wife Kay, and two of his sons Ben and David.
Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday, September 5th, at the Cowboy Church, 5050 FM 5, Aledo, TX, with a viewing from 9 AM to 11 AM followed by the service from 11 AM to 12 PM. The graveside service will be held at 1901 N Perry Rd, Carrollton, TX, at 1:30 PM. Attendees are invited to join the family for lunch afterward. The arrangements are being handled by a funeral home in Carrollton, TX.
Mildred's life was a testament to her strength, love, and faith, leaving a lasting impact on all who knew her. She will be deeply missed but fondly remembered for her nurturing spirit and the profound guidance she provided to her family.
