Amparo worked in food service at Eloy and Picacho Elementary Schools and also at Jerry's Pharmacy for many years. She enjoyed cooking, crocheting, baking, knitting, watching cooking shows and reading. In her younger years she painted, enjoyed ceramics, loved Jazz music, dancing and camping.
She is survived by her daughter, Tyra Philips of Casa Grande and sisters, Mercy Rodriguez and Belia Martinez both of Eloy; also survived by three grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents Filberto and Victoria; sister Betty, brother Luis and her husband, Richard.
Memorial Mass will be held on Friday February 23, 2024 11:00a.m preceded by a rosary at 10:30a.m both at St. Helen's of the Cross Catholic Church in Eloy. Inurnment to follow service in Eloy Memorial Park.
