Born in Phoenix, AZ, she was the daughter of Santiago and Frances Chevez. She enjoyed the outdoors and camping. She looked forward to family gatherings and spending time with and fishing with her grandchildren. She liked to sew and worked as a seamstress with her husband at their Masterpiece upholstery shop in Casa Grande. She enjoyed the company of others, especially her family. She enjoyed dancing, singing, and shopping.
