CASA GRANDE - Gary Lavon Gates, 68, of Casa Grande died on Jan. 22, 2020.Mr. Gates was a son of Athel and Coralee Gates. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing and tinkering with classic cars.He was preceded in death by a son, Jeffery L. Gates, and is survived by his beloved wife, Stella I. Gates; two sons, Samuel S. Gates of Casa Grande and Jeremy L. Gates of Missouri; six siblings, JR Gates, Amos Gates, Jim Gates, Netta Meeks, Friedi Hawkins, all of Arkansas, and Mary Hawkins of North Carolina; and three grandchildren.J.
