ARIZONA CITY — James William "Jim" Sterling, 72, of Arizona City died on April 16, 2013, at home.A private service was planned.Mr. Sterling was born on March 22, 1941, in Detroit. He received a bachelor's degree in engineering. He most recently worked as a grocery clerk and was an avid sports fan who enjoyed travel. He loved his family and being with the young children.Survivors include his wife, Shirley R. (Mineard) Sterling; two daughters, Kelly Talmedge of Anchorage and Bonnita "Bonnie" Larson of Arizona City; three sons, Chris Sterling of Mill Creek, Wash., Bard Brandenburg of Arizona City and Roger Brandenburg of Waymart, Pa.; two brothers, Tom and Ken Shaw of Michigan; 14 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. J. Warren Funeral Services, Mountain View Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
