SACATON FLATS - Janice Marie Stewart-Cooper, 74, of Sacaton Flats died on May 31, 2015, at Chandler Regional Medical Center.The wake will begin at 6 p.m. today at the Hashan Kehk Multipurpose Building. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 7 a.m. Friday at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Mission by the Rev. Gregory Rice. Burial will be in Upper Santan Cemetery.Ms. Stewart-Cooper was born on May 5, 1941, in Sacaton Flats and was a daughter of Allen Stewart and Elizabeth R. Thomas. She was a health care lab technician and was Catholic. A member of the Hashan Kehk Elderly Group, she enjoyed bingo, bowling and listening to music.Survivors include two daughters, Michelle R. Osife of Hashan Kehk and Micheala A. Cooper of Sacaton; two sons, Alvin Cooper of Upper Santan and Derwin Cooper of Goodyear Village; two sisters, Margie Trevino of Blackwater and Arlene Gonzales of Hashan Kehk; 14 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Errol and Wayne Stewart; a sister, Loretta Stewart; a son, Michael A. Cooper; and a grandson, Sylvester Osife Jr.J.
