Kenneth French

Kenneth P. French, Jr., age 75 of Eloy, passed away peacefully onApril 2, 2018, surrounded by those who loved him the most.Ken was born in Merced, CA in November 1942. He was raised inthe California high desert, graduated from Barstow High School in1960, attended La Sierra College in Riverside, CA and, later in hiscareer, earned his MBA from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.Ken’s family and career took him from coast to coast, where hewas fortunate to live or work in such places as the San Franciscopeninsula, Illinois, California’s wine country, northern Virginia,New York, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin and central California. Ken had a long and accomplished career in operations and sales management and retired from Elkay Manufacturing Company.Ken will be remembered as a kind, loving and generous husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle and friend. He enjoyed everything about the outdoors, particularly lakes, streams,ponds and oceans - any water where he could exercise his passion for fishing. Ken and his wife, Carole, loved to travel in their motor home, especially to the southern and central Californiacoasts. Ken attended Rock Springs Church, where he will be remembered for his easy smile and friendly handshake when serving as a greeter.Ken is survived by his loving wife, Carole J. French; brother, Thomas N. French (Judy); brotherin-law, Kim A. Balzer (Debbie); grandson, Jamie Spurlock (Brittany); nieces, Bethany Lunaand Kathryn Sebring (Bob); nephew, Joshua French and grand-nieces and nephews, Keagan, Shae, Kai and Zeke. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Mary A. French and Kenneth P. French, Sr.; son, Kenneth P. French, III; daughter, Christine M. French; late wife, Sharon E. French; and stepson, Robert K. Barker.Memorial Service to be held at Mt. View Cemetery Chapel, 15506 Skyway Avenue, Casa Grande, AZ 85193, on April 28, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. Private interment immediately following the service.In lieu of flowers, donations in Ken’s memory may be madeto Rock Springs Church or a charity of one’s choice.
