Martina F Manuel, a gentle, kind-hearted, and devoted woman, passed away on January 23, 2026, at the age of 86. She was born on May 7, 1939, in San Francisquito, Mexico, to Lalo Garcia and Josephine Cruz. Martina was married to Wayne Manuel, with whom she shared a life full of love and dedication.
Martina loved to sew, cook, and make tortillas, and was a wonderful homemaker. Her passion for creating a warm and welcoming home was evident in every stitch and meal she prepared.
She is survived by her husband, Wayne H. Manuel, her son Gabriel Parra, and two grandchildren. Martina is preceded in death by her parents and two siblings, Joe Garcia and Ralph Garcia.
An all-night vigil will be held on Friday, February 6, 2026, at Saint Anne's Feast House in Santan from 6:00 to 10:00 p.m. A mass will be held on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at Saint Anne's Catholic Church with mass at 10:00 a.m., and burial to follow at Saint Anne's Cemetery.
