It has been just over a year since the good lord took you home. 🙏 
I can't even begin to say how much your missed. My heart thinks of you everyday.  I reminisce  about so many moments and memories  we shared. So much has happened. So many good things.
I miss you so much dad!  So much of you is ensttilled in me! I thank you for that. I'll see you again one day! Until then I'll keep making you proud!! Love you to the moon and back!!!

Two months today....and I miss you so very much. ❤️ Nothing is the same without you....
Grief is tough. My mind and heart is full of beautiful memories of talks, laughter,  tears doctor visits and just how long you were being so strong. I am so grateful I got to spend the last four years with you and all the other days of my life. God has a way of working our lives out. 
So much has happened..
Buckshot won state championship  in Break-away. He graduated last week. Nita got her first job. Shannon is doing  amazing and has been great comfort to me. I talk to Lizzy often. She has such a beautiful spirit and has been a great friend. She is a wonderful ❤️ inspiration in my life. I My mind keeps remembering all you told me....  I'm trying to keep all your wishes. I will never forget!! Your the greatest father I could ever have!! I miss you dad I know I'll see you again....God bless you!❤️

Pepaws as I would call you... My Dad loved and adored you and that to me says what a great person you were. I know you were not my biological grandfather, but you were always my favorite and treated me as your own blood. I wish I would had been able to see you more and know you better. Say hello to my daddy for me. I will always treasure the memories that I have with you and memaws.

Q: How would you describe Max to someone who had never met them?
            
            A: To me, Max was a great man that I was blessed to know. He was kind, generous and caring. Max cared for my family- my husband, children and myself. He would always check on us whether he was here in the White Mountains or back at his home in Casa Grande. He never missed a beat to help others around him. He enjoyed sharing his life stories and I loved listening to them. I will miss Max more then I can put in words. 

Q: What will you never forget about Max?
            
            A: I enjoyed fishing with Max. His favorite lake was Hulsey Lake. We made great memories and I loved to hear him talk about his life, even when he repeated his stories, I never tired of listening. Max was instrumental in guiding me to my salvation and baptism. I miss him and always will.

Q: What will you miss most about Max?
            
            A: PaPa,
There are so many things I will miss about you.  I will miss the times you give me advice, the times you call me to tell me you love me and more than anything THE LOVE YOU GIVE MY KIDS.  Nita and Buck will miss you more than words can describe.  You are the best grandpa and great grandpa words could ever express.  Have fun with MeMause , CJ and Chad.  We miss them too.  LOVE YOU SO MUCH PAPA rest in peace!

It's been two weeks today. God bless you. I have missed you every single day and am trying my best to stay focused.  I think of what we may of been talking about at this hour. Probably watching Fox news, a movie or just venting about life. You were the greatest listener. ❤️

All I can say is WOW!! You accomplished so much.... I know you're in heaven smiling down on me!! I miss you more than you could ever imagine dad..... I'm grateful for all you were to me. I will never forget what a wonderful relationship we had.  I've been running back and fourth from my house to yours. Going to take some time. ߘ¢ Nita & Buck call me everyday to check in. Shannon has been a ߙ blessing.

Q: What will you never forget about Max?
            
            A: As a young man, he set aside his plans and the dream of going out west to become a hunting guide, so he could take care of his family when they needed him. He was all about his family, always. Rest In Peace Uncle Max.


Max and I grew up together in a small coal mining community. We attended the same schools,church,and knew the same group of people. We were baptized together and he was one of the most dedicated men I’ve ever known. Soft,caring,giving heart. .He was an avid fisherman, loved hunting and always went out to chop down mistletoe at Christmas.
We spent many long hours talking on the phone. I miss him already but know I’ll see him soon. Love you Max.

It was a honor to know you for so many years. You were a great man. What a legacy you left behind.. I truly enjoyed all the time we spent together a lifetime relationship I'll never forget.

Debbie and Terry, your dad was a real straight shooter, probably the only really honest man besides, my dad, that I've ever known. He accomplished much in his career and had many that respected him. He had such a great sense of dry humor! He loved your mom, you two & his grandkids very much. I know he was proud of you! Praise God, he was a man of great faith and I hope that brings you comfort, when you're hurting so badly. I'm keeping you in my prayers!

My father was my biggest inspiration, best friend, my hero and so much more. While I have many memories one of my favorite is him buying me a pair of  knee high fur boots to keep warm  as I walked down the hollar each day to catch the bus in the snow in Oceana West  Virgina. God bless you Dad ❤️  Forever in my heart. Love you forever ❤️
