Noel Kirkland

It is with great sadness that the family of Noel Kirkland announces his passing on March 2, 2018 at the age of 62. Noel was born in Casa Grande to Dennis and Neva on January 16, 1956. On July 8, 1983 he marriedthe love of his life, Traci. They had two wonderful children, Chelseaand Jordan.Noel’s passion for music started at the young age of four when hestarted playing ukulele. A few years later his brother, Joaquin, andNoel started their first band with a couple of friends, the Galaxies.Starting from a young age, he always took pride performing for allof his friends and fans. He always took the time and effort to make ithis best! He regularly talked about how much fun it was to play withhis friends and some of the most talented people in the world.One of his proudest accomplishments happened in 1993 when hewas hired to play with Glen Campbell. Noel and his family movedto Branson, Missouri to join Glen’s band, playing keyboards, guitar,banjo, violin and vocals. During the five years playing with Glen, hehad the opportunity to tour the world and play music in almost everystate in the country. In 1999 Noel made the decisions to move backto Arizona to be closer to his family and help his father manage thefamily business, De-No Music Center.His greatest hobby was going to the shooting range with hisfriends and participating in shooting competitions. He also enjoyedgoing on vacation with his family in Pinetop and lifting weights.Noel will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 35 years, Traci;son, Jordan; daughter, Chelsea; father, Dennis; and stepmom, June(Ledbetter) Kirkland. Noel was preceded in death by his mom, Nevaand brother, Dennis Joaquin Kirkland.A funeral service in memory of Noel will be held on Saturday,March 24, 2018 at The First Assembly of God located at 502 E.Kortsen Rd. at 10:30 a.m. This will be followed by a celebrationof life at The Property Conference Center, located at 1251 W. GilaBend Hwy. at 12:00 p.m.
