

Deborah was born to Bert Middleton and Mary J. Eley on April 10th 1957 in Seattle, Washington. She had ten siblings: Ron, Jeff, David, Alice, Frank, Patty, Bert, Cheryl, Bill, and Jeanette. Deborah graduated from Mount Si High School of Snoqualmie, WA in 1976. Deborah was married to Michael Braught from 2015 until the year she passed away, and to Steven Stubbs for 13 years combined. She had two children, Ronald and Mary.
Deborah loved to care for others. This is reflected in her vocation over the years as an in-home care provider. She also was a bus monitor for the Chehalis school system. Deborah loved nature. She loved to go camping, and she adored the beach where she would collect rocks, shells, and rusty objects. Deborah was also an avid gardener.
Deborah is preceded in death by her father Bert Middleton, her stepfather Bill Holmes Sr., her grandparents Mary Jane and Henry Eley, her uncle Bob Eley, her mother-in-law Katherine Stubbs, and her uncle Henry “Bud” Eley.
Deborah is survived by her husband Michael Braught; her mother Mary Jane (Jean) Holmes; her siblings Ron Holmes (Diana), Jeff Holmes, Alice Riley, Frank Holmes (Teresa), Patty Urton (Rick), Bert Holmes (Ruth), Cheryl Wright, Bill Holmes, and Jeanette Wrzesinski (Barry); her children Ron Middleton (Tara) and Mary Harris (Dale); her grandchildren Ashten Middleton (Emily), Leandre Gaines, Jayci Harris, Bryson Oliver, Amyah Middleton, Rayah Middleton, Krystin Harris, Theo, and Dahlia; her soon to be great-grandson Jaxten Middleton; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends.
The family would like to thank Providence Centralia Hospital for going above and beyond to help, and Pastor Larry Meade for the prayer at the hospital.
