Iris Ruby Agren

Iris Ruby Agren passed away Monday, February 3, 2014 in Centralia, WA. Iris was born to Helen and Chet Gesche on Saturday, July 31, 1926, in Appleton, Wisconsin. Iris attended Chehalis High School. She married the love of her life Merle Agren in April 28, 1946.

Iris loved flowers, canning, trips to the beach and Reno, watching the Mariners and Seahawks, playing Bingo and most of all spending time with her family. She was also a member of the Lutheran Church and the Chehalis Eagles. In her last few years Iris enjoyed her time at Colonial Residence in Centralia. She loved both the residence and the staff dearly. Iris’s family would like to thank all the staff that cared for her.

Iris is preceded in death her loving husband Merle; parents, Chet and Helen Geshe and grandson Nicholas Salle.

She is survived by her son Ken (Cindy) Agren, daughters Kathy (Rick) Salle and Robin (Rick) Williams; brother, Ken (Jan) Gesche, 8 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, 3 great great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Funeral service will be held at 1pm, Saturday, February 8, 2014, at Sticklin Funeral Chapel, Centralia. Memorials may be donations to Assured Home Health Hospice or a Charity of your choice in Iris’s name. Services are under the care of Sticklin Funeral Chapel.
