Lillian Lee Greenwood

Lillian Lee Greenwood, 73, of Chehalis, Washington passed away Friday, June 10, 2022. Lillian was born October 25, 1948 to Clara Belle and Richard Goble in Morton, Washington. Lillian was one of nine children, who was quickly given the name “Cookie” by an Aunt.

Cookie graduated White Pass High School in 1967, the same year she married the love of her life, James Marcus Greenwood Jr. Cookie and James made Packwood, Washington their home for 55 years, where they raised their three sons, Richard, Joseph and James III.

While working numerous jobs around Packwood, her favorite was being the produce manager at Blantons.

Cookie had some great hobbies, but being a grandma and great-grandma to 14 grandchildren was her favorite way to spend her time. Cookie gained her wings on June 10, 2022, with her husband and sons surrounding her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clara Belle and Richard; siblings, Correen, Joe, Richard, Pam and Billy.

Cookie is survived by her husband, James “Hoot” Greenwood; sons, Richard, Joseph and James III; siblings, Dorreen, Lon and Regina; and 14 grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held on July 9, 2022 at the Packwood Community Hall at 1pm. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Sticklin Funeral Chapel.
