Mary Molly Alice Fothergill

Molly was born July 22, 1938 in Hollywood, CA, the daughter of late Leeland and Anna Kerfoot. She was the oldest of 2 siblings. Her life adventures took her from California to Oklahoma, Oregon, and finally Washington. In Sept 2005, she married Charles Robert Fothergill and moved from Pe Ell to the beach at Westport. Her life has been very full. In addition to raising eight children , she worked for years in the Nursing profession caring for others .She earned her LPN Degree in 1968 from Blue Mountain College in Pendleton, Or. She earned her Associate Registered Nurse Degree in 1981 from Lower Columbia College in Longview, Wa. She worked for several nursing homes and Home Health in the Chehalis- Centralia area before retiring from Providence Hopspital in Centralia as an Obstetrical nurse. She enjoyed gardening, knitting, and going to the beach. She also loved watching her favorite teams, the Seahawks and the Mariners (Especially when they played the Baltimore Orioles).

She is survived by her spouse, Charles Robert Fothergill and eight children; Dorothy (Mike) Baker, Mossyrock; Laura (Dennis) Nyberg, Toledo; Debbie (Dave) Hadlock, Avondale, AZ; Butch (Julie) Oster, Pe Ell; Pam (Art) Hammons, Centralia; Donna (Matt) Alden, Pe Ell; Louis (Debbie) Oster, Pe Ell; Kevin Oster, Pe Ell; 21 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; brother, Chuck (Gail) Kerfoot, Pasedena MD; numberous neices & nephews; and her favorite cat, Lard.

Molly was preceded in death by former spouses, Gradie John Nailon and Donald Norman Oster.

There will be no service per Molly’s request. However, the family will host a BBQ Celebration of Life, Sept 12th in Pe Ell. Memorial donations can be made to Home Health & Hospice, 1035 11th Ave, Longview, WA 98632 in memory of Mary (Molly) Fothergill.
