Orville served his country during the Korean War. Following the war he joined the Loyal Order of Moose in 1956 and Orville was a life member. He served in many leadership roles and received his Pilgrim Degree of Merit in 1974. He was also a member of the Eagles in Yuma, Arizona.
Orville was preceded in death by his parents and son Terry.
He is survived by his loving wife of 69 years Ruby; his daughters Tammy (Larry Myers) from Tumwater, Washington and Traci from Zephyrhills, Florida; son Todd from Helena, Montana; brother Vernon Ellwein from Anchorage, Alaska; sister Naomi Guthmiller from Santon Valley, Arizona; four grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
He was the love of Ruby’s life and will be missed by many. Orville’s life will be celebrated at Stillwater Estate at the gathering place - 2800 Cooks Hill Rd, Centralia, Washington 98531 on June 21, 2025 from 2:00 – 5:00 pm.
