Penny Lee Germeau

In 1984, Penny enlisted in the U.S. Army and served as an Army Nurse for 21 years. After discharge, she stayed in nursing, ending with a total of almost 50 years in the field.

Penny met Patrick Dale Germeau and they married on May 20, 2006. They enjoyed traveling from time to time and spending quiet evenings at home.

Penny loved quilting, gardening and especially reading. She could read a novel or two in a day and enjoyed books of all sorts. Penny was a hardcore video gamer, playing games up until her death. One of her favorites was World of Warcraft.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Violet Hartgraves.

Survivors include husband, Patrick D.Germeau; son and daughter-in-law, Ruben and Alicia Wood; Joseph and Jamie Wood; brothers, Wayne and Brian Hartgraves; grandchildren, Matthew, Lillie, Bradley and Joseph.

Friends and family are invited to a celebration of life potluck on April 23, 2022, from 12 (Noon) to 4 p.m., at her home.
