Roberta Jeanne Brown, known as Jeanne to all that loved her, lived to the age of 90. She lived in Lacey, Washington at the time of her passing on Saturday, September 18, 2021. Jeanne was born November 1, 1930 to Dorothy Marion Chase and Ralph Victor Starling.
Jeanne is survived by her brother Nathan Smothers (Mt. Vernon); son Jay Dee Garrison (Tumwater); and daughter Jami (Garrison) Robertson (Rochester); her grandchildren Nicholas Robertson, Catrina Holmkvist, Bria Parozzo and Jared Garrison. Jeanne loved her grandchildren and her many great grandchildren: Gwen, Zeke & Quinten Robertson; Keziah, Luke, Mario & Nico Perozzo; David & Nora Holmkvist; Allison Garrison.
Jeanne was raised in Plains, Montana. After marriage to James D. Garrison she moved to Thompson Falls, Mt. She later moved to Rochester, WA. Jeanne was always very active in her church and community. She was always one of the first to volunteer to help at VBS or Christmas pageants. She enjoyed helping during political campaigns, but most of all she loved her family. Jeanne was always willing to help anyone, her heart was one of love.
Jeanne was preceded in death by her husband James D. Garrison; her father Ralph Victor Starling and her mother Dorothy Marion Chase; her brothers Dick Starling & Bill Starling, her sisters Emma Murdock, Edith Moles, and Dorothy Starling.
