Anne was a strong, loving, outgoing and social person who never met a stranger. However, her family was her highest priority and she was an attentive daughter to her parents, a devoted wife to her husband of 62 years, and nurturing mother to her children. Her friendly smile and cheerful personality will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Anne was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John Gallagher; her son, Mark Gallagher; her son-in-law, Walter Smith; and her parents.
She is survived by her children, Sharon Smith, Lynn Gallagher (Carla), Tom Gallagher (Cora), and John Gallagher (Lisa); her daughter-in-law, Phyllis Ross (Ivan); her grandchildren, Kelly Gallagher, John Gallagher, Pat Gallagher (Emily), Ryan Smith, Erika Lanning (Derek), and Lindsey Pickett (Ryan); her step-grandchild, Shayna Trott (Josh); her great-grandchildren, Dillon Lanning, Lucy Pickett, Duke Lanning, Magnolia Pickett, Mark Gallagher, and McKenzie Gallagher; her sister, Ruth Caruso (Ed); her brother, Jon VanWagenen; and many other loving extended family members.
Services will be held privately.
