She was a devoted daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She always put others before herself and her family will always be grateful for the gift that was her life.
She is survived by her loving husband of almost 60 years, Robert Carvalho; daughters, Carol, Jo Ann, Laurie and Mary; 10 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at six-thirty in the evening on Wednesday, the 25th of February, with a small memorial service to follow at seven o'clock at McEwen Funeral Service-Mint Hill Chapel, 7428 Matthews-Mint Hill Road, Mint Hill, North Carolina 28227.
