Benjamin Arnold Jamison

Mr. Jamison was born November 25, 1945, to the late James Brevard Jamison, Sr. and Ella Louise Yost Jamison. In addition to his parents, his brother, Carl Jamison preceded him in death.

Mr. Jamison graduated from East Mecklenburg High School and was a U.S Army, Vietnam War Veteran. He had 43 years of service with Duff Norton/Columbus McKinnon. Mr. Jamison was a member of the VFW 2423 All American Post of Indian Trail, North Carolina. He had a kind heart and would do anything for anyone. He had a passion for spending time with family, especially his grandchildren.

He was survived by his sons, Ben Jamison, Jr. and wife, Melissa, and Mike Jamison; his grandchildren, Charlie, Chloe, Jesse and Gabriel; and his brothers and sisters, Buddy Jamison, Nancy Nance, Libby Wilson, Janice Edwards, and Phil Jamison.

Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. Sunday, at McEwen Funeral Service, Mint Hill Chapel, with a funeral service to immediately follow at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Sunset Memory Gardens in Mint Hill.
