Brigette Rebecca McLemore

She was a loving wife, incredible mother, a greatly loved daughter, sister, aunt, niece, friend, and teacher. Brigett was born in Johnson City, NY and graduated from SUNY Cortland College with a degree in education. After moving to the south, she began her career at Eastover Elementary School and completed her career at Rama Road Elementary School as a teacher of a fourth grade all boys’ class. She loved teaching and was adored by all of her students.

She was preceded in death by her stepfather, Thomas Ceiri; sister, Sheri; and her aunts, Theresa Rundell and Judith Thater.

Brigette is survived by her husband Kevin; children, Cooper and Madi Grace; parents, Richard and Jacqueline; siblings, Christopher, Heather, Jennifer, Erica, Tom, and Leah; father and mother-in-law, Dan and Nancy. She also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, friends and loved ones that will truly miss her and her beautiful smile.

A visitation with the family will be from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, at McEwen Funeral Service, Mint Hill Chapel, 7428 Matthews-Mint Hill Road in Mint Hill. A celebration of life service will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, July 13, 2017 at Albemarle Road Presbyterian Church, 6740 Albemarle Rd, Charlotte, NC 28212.
