He was born on May 26, 1962, in Monroe, NC, to Max and Jonell Bowden Thomas.
He graduated from Independence High School in 1980.
Mr. Thomas was an inventory manager for Parks Cramer for twenty-one years. Most recently he was employed at Presbyterian Hospital-Matthews.
Survivors include his father, Max Thomas, Mint Hill, NC; daughter, Kristin Partee and fiancée, Elliott Tosto, Greensboro, NC; three sisters, Christale (Frank) Norwood, Darlene (Tony) Bartlett, and Dena (Johnny) Townsend, all of Mint Hill; two nieces and two nephews.
Bryan loved NASCAR, fishing, and spending time with his friends.
His family will receive friends on Saturday, Nov. 12, 2011, from 1-2 p.m. at the McEwen Funeral Service-Mint Hill Chapel, 7428 Matthews-Mint Hill Rd., Mint Hill, NC, followed by his memorial service. Reverend Steve Gandy will officiate.
He was preceded in death by his mother.
