

Eldora was married to Willie Morgan around 1942 and lived in Talladega Alabama. Willie moved to Brooklyn, New York and Eldora followed shortly after, moving to New York in 1945 with their two sons at the time, Billy and Charlie.
Eldora worked in a hotel in addition to working in a millinery. During World War II, she was pulled to work in a factory to help make bullets for the war. From grandma's words "I went from making buttons to making bullets". Eldora loved to travel and had been to many countries, including Morocco, Italy, Bahamas, Aruba, Jamaica and a few others.
Purple was her favorite color. She loved to dance and enjoyed musicians such as James Brown, Michael Jackson and Smokey Robinson. She was the matriarch of her family after the passing of her husband in 1981. Maggie took care of her entire family and believed that we must always forgive each other and stick together.
Eldora is preceded in death by her parents; her children, Cyril "Billy" Morgan, Zachary Morgan, Sylvester Morgan, Charlie Morgan, Alecia Carrol Morgan, and Jerome Morgan; her granddaughter, Halimah Morgan; her sisters, Lavada McClain, Carrol, Victoria, and Tee Tee; and her brother, Fred Lawler.
She is survived by her sons, Terrence Morgan and Anthony Morgan; her grandchildren, Michael Starks, Michelle Morgan (Oscar Morgan III), Lamar Rouse Jr, LaQuandra Alexander (Donnell Alexander), Amina Rouse, Ryan Rouse, Gamillah Morgan, Aleesha Morgan, Amirrah Morgan, Damian Negron, and Devin Negron; and her great-grandchildren, Lakia Starks, Laterra, Townsy, Brandon Ray, Kiana Starks, Myles Morgan, Lamar Rouse, Gabriel Custodio, Lavasia Rouse, Kamaria Rouse, DreQuan Williams, Brien Feaster, Seydou (Alex) Sagna, Kalimah Morgan, Saniyah Spencer, Tarus Davis, Aiden Barker, Blake Herrera, Angelina Negron, Angel Negron, Zarius Negron, and Faith Negron.
